The Landscape of Home
Available March 2024

The Landscape of Home presents homes in the countryside, along the coast, and in town—and features a rich diversity of projects, from country estates to rooftop gardens. In it, we discuss the essential elements in the firm’s work: the importance of the procession of entry to a house, as well as its context in the landscape; the positioning of plant life and trees; the way people move into and through a property; and the way a garden looks and changes through the seasons.

“Ed paints with the palette of the plants and sculpts with the forms of trees and shrubs…the gardens he creates seem in total harmony with the house and the land.”
—Bunny Williams, Foreword, The Landscape of Home
