We’re looking for an entry-level designer who:

• Has 0–3 years of professional experience in landscape architecture (including internships or academic design/build work).
• Enjoys working in a small-team setting across a diverse range of project types.
• Is enthusiastic about a hands-on, collaborative process that includes sketching, computer rendering, site visits, and learning about planting design and construction administration.
• Is curious, motivated, and eager to learn—especially in an environment that values mentorship and offers continuing education opportunities.
• Shares our passion for thoughtful, innovative design that responds to the natural and built environment.
• Wants to be part of a team that creates beautifully detailed, high-quality built work.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to landscape architecture projects through studio work, internships, or entry-level roles.
• Interest in high-end residential, urban rooftop, or small-scale commercial design.
• Strong organizational and communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Solid foundation in technical drawing, grading, and detailing (coursework or entry-level exposure is fine).
• Experience or interest in learning Lumion, D5, Rhino or other 3D rendering tools.
• Strong hand-drawing and digital graphic presentation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited landscape architecture or architecture program.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):

• A working knowledge or strong interest in plant materials and planting design.
• Working toward or interested in pursuing professional licensure.

Salary Range:

• This is for a full-time position based in New York. Salary is commensurate with experience between $70-85K. Some travel may be required. Position is for immediate hire.
