Architectural Digest Features Hollander Design Project

AD Profiles Sophisticated, Playful Southampton Home

See Architectural Digest’s story about a fun and elegant Hamptons home we designed in collaboration with Kelly Behun and James Merrell. The landscape creates spaces for outdoor art, from commissioned sculpture to a supersized chess board, within settings designed to make it as much a part of the indoor experience as outdoor.

Thanks to thoughtful positioning, plantings by AD100 landscape architect Edmund Hollander, and well-placed windows, the homeowner attests, “You can stand in any room and see outside in both directions.” That’s by design.

We’re so pleased to have collaborated with an exceptional design team. See more photos of the project at James Merrell Architects and Kelly Behun Studio.
